Iranian steelmaker Iran Alloy Steel produced 247,000 mt of semi-finished steel (billet and bloom) and 224,000 mt of finished products (round bar etc.) in the last Iranian year (ended March 20), up eight and four percent respectively compared to 229,000 mt and 216,000 mt in the previous Iranian year, according to the newly published statistics from the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
Iran Alloy Steel is the main Iranian producer of alloy steel with a nominal capacity of 250,000 mt per year.
