Interpipe Steel's crude steel output down 37.8 percent in January-April

Interpipe Steel, the electric steel-melting complex of Ukrainian steel pipe and railway wheel producer Interpipe, has announced that in the January-April period this year its production of crude steel declined by 37.8 percent compared to the same period of last year. In April alone, the company produced 45,000 mt of crude steel.

Interpipe Steel is a key project for Interpipe, designed to provide the company's pipe and wheel production with its own steel billets, with an annual capacity of 1.32 million mt.
