Inner Mongolia’s finished steel output rises by 22.6 percent in H1

The government of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has announced that in the first half of the current year the total finished steel output of the region amounted to 8.225 million mt up 22.6 percent, while its crude steel output totaled 9.066 million mt up 11.1 percent, both year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given period the raw coal output of Inner Mongolia totaled 517.20 million mt, increasing by 66.61 million mt or 14.8 percent year on year. In June alone, the raw coal output of the region amounted to 88.36 million mt, increasing by 5.64 million mt or 6.8 percent year on year and falling by 5.08 million mt or 5.4 percent month on month.
