Industrial output of steel sector in China’s Hebei Province up 24.6% in Jan-Apr

In the January-April period this year, the value-added industrial output of the ferrous metal smelting and rolling sector in China’s Hebei Province recorded a year-on-year rise of 24.6 percent, as announced by Hebei Provincial Bureau of Statistics. In the given period, pig iron, crude steel and finished steel outputs in Hebei Province indicated respective year-on-year rises of 13.7 percent, 12.2 percent and 10.7 percent.

In the first four months of the year, Hebei Province's overall value-added industrial output increased by 6.0 percent year on year.

In April alone, the overall value-added industrial output in Hebei Province increased by 4.5 percent year on year.
