India’s Vedanta Limited declared preferred bidder for iron ore block in Goa

India’s Vedanta Limited has been declared the “preferred bidder” for an iron ore block in Goa in an auction concluded last week, a company statement said on Monday, June 12.

The company said that Goa’s directorate of mines and geology in a notification declared Vedanta Limited as the preferred bidder for the Cudnem iron ore block.

The mining lease for the block will be issued to Vedanta Limited after completion of payment and signing of terms and conditions as per the auction rules.
