India’s TCIL reports 93% reduction in net loss in Q2 FY 2023-24

Tinplate Company of India Limited (TCIL) has reported a net loss of INR 22.90 million ($0.27 million) during the second quarter (July-September) of the fiscal year 2023-24, 93.48 percent lower than the net loss recorded in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, according to a company regulatory filing on Tuesday, October 17.

The company reported total sales revenues of INR 9.6 billion ($115.37 million) during the quarter, a decline of 1.22 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
