India’s NMDC Limited achieves 11% rise in iron ore output in April

India’s state-run NMDC Limited achieved iron ore production of 3.51 million mt in April this year, up 11.43 percent year on year, according to a company statement on Tuesday, May 2.

It reported total iron ore sales of 3.34 million mt, up 9.94 percent year on year.

However, output in April this year was 37.32 percent lower that output in March, when NMDC Limited had reported an output of 5.60 million mt.
