India’s MOIL Limited sees 53% rise in manganese ore output in August

Indian state-run manganese miner MOIL Limited has reported production of 123,000 mt of manganese ore in August this year, up 53 percent year on year, according to a company statement on Monday, September 4.

The company achieved sales of 110,000 mt in August this year, double the sales recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year.

During the April-August period of fiscal year 2023-24, MOIL Limited achieved cumulative production of 679,000 mt, up 44 percent year on year.
