India’s Maithan Alloys sees 73% fall in net profit in Q1 FY 2023-24

Indian ferrosilicon and ferromanganese alloy producer Maithan Alloys Limited (MAL) has reported a net profit of INR 596.00 million ($7.19 million) in the first quarter (April-June) of the fiscal year 2023-24, a decline of 72.78 percent year on year, according to a company regulatory filing on Monday, August 14.

The company reported total sales revenue of INR 4.48 billion ($54.11 million), a fall of 56.93 percent year on year.
