India’s GPIL Limited sees 52% rise in net profit in Q2 FY 2023-24

Indian steel and pellet producer Godavari Power and Ispat Limited (GPIL) has reported consolidated a net profit of INR 2.5 billion ($30.87 million) in the second quarter (July-September) of the fiscal year 2023-24, up 52.41 percent over the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year, a company statement said on Tuesday, November 7.

The achieved a total income of INR 13.14 billion ($157.95 million) during the second quarter, marking a marginal decline of 1.43 percent year on year.
