India's Ministry of Finance has announced that it has imposed a final antidumping (AD) duty on imports of color coated alloy and non-alloy flat steel products (PPGI) from China and the European Union (EU).

The antidumping duty rates are equivalent to the difference between the realized value of the subject goods and the minimum reference price of $822/mt for the mentioned imports from China and the EU. The duties will be effective for a period of five years effective from January 11 this year, when a provisional antidumping duty was imposed on the products.

The products in question currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7210, 7212, 7225 and 7226.
