The Independent Steel Alliance (ISA) announced today that it has signed a Supplier Partner Agreement with Gerdau Long Steel North America.

Under the terms of the agreement, ISA members in the US and Canada will be able to purchase rebar directly from any of Gerdau’s geographically diverse bar mills.

“The goal of ISA is to forge partnerships with suppliers who recognize the cohesion and commitment of our group of independent rebar fabricators,” said ISA Executive Director Chris Casey. “We are very excited to have Gerdau’s support as a North American bar producer and look forward to what we expect to become a long-term and mutually beneficial relationship.”

The agreement is effective January 1, 2017 for all rebar purchases make by ISA members directly with Gerdau.
