Ilyich buys stake in Slav Handels

The Ukrainian Antimonopoly Committee (AMK) has granted its permission to local steel producer Ilyich Iron and Steel Works of Mariupol (Ilyich) for its proposed purchase of a stake in Austria-based trader Slav Handels GmbH. The purchased shares will allow Ilyich to hold more than 50 percent of votes on Slav Handels' management board.

Slav Handels specializes in the trading of Ukrainian origin steel.
