Hyundai Steel to merge with Hyundai Hysco

South Korean steelmaker Hyundai Steel announced on Wednesday, April 8 that it will merge with Hyundai Hysco to increase operational efficiency and enhance corporate value by creating synergies.
 
The merger subject to customary closing conditions and approval from shareholders is expected to be completed by July 1, 2015.
