Hunan Valin Steel expects to return to profit in H1

In its preliminary financial report for the first half of the current year, Hunan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron & Steel Co. (Hunan Valin Steel) has announced that it expects to record a net profit of RMB 10-30 million ($1.63-4.89 million) for the given period, with earnings per share of RMB 0.0033-0.0099. During the same period last year, the company registered a net loss of RMB 383.4742 million, with a net loss per share of RMB 0.1272.
