Hunan Valin Iron and Steel acquires 100 percent of Jiangsu Wuxi Steel

Chinese steelmaker Hunan Valin Iron and Steel, based in Changsha, Hunan Province, announced on April 30 that it has acquired the outstanding 45 percent stake in steel producer Jiangsu Wuxi Steel Group, which it previously jointly owned with China Resources Group. After the transaction, Wuxi Steel Group has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Hunan Valin Iron and Steel.
