HSC invests $150 million in Chengdu Seamless Steel Pipe

On August 15 in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan Province, large Lebanese-based multinational HSC signed an agreement for a total investment of $150 million in a steel tube processing production line project. This is the second time HSC has increased its investment since the company established HSC (Chengdu) Seamless Steel Pipe Co., Ltd in this region. It is also the fourth foreign capital project since the earthquake which devastated Sichuan Province earlier this year.

In the project in question, Pancheng Steel's seamless steel tubes will be used to produce high-performance sealed connecting pipes, destined both for the domestic and overseas markets.
