Hormozgan Steel’s semi-finished steel output reaches 118,000 mt

Iranian steelmaker Hormozgan Steel has produced 118,000 mt of semi-finished steel (slab) since it started commercial production in September 2011, as reported by the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
 
Hormozgan Steel, a subsidary of Mobarakeh steel, supplies slab to its parent company. Hormozgan Steel has an annual output capacity of 1.5 million mt of crude steel, while it aims to double its capacity by implementing its development plan.
