Hilco Global to sell Vallourec Deutschland’s equipment at two plants

US-based Hilco Global’s Amsterdam-based subsidiary Hilco Industrial Acquisitions, B.V. has announced that it will sell the machinery and equipment at two production plants of in Düsseldorf-Rath and Mulheim an der Ruhr on behalf of seamless steel pipe producer Vallourec Deutschland GmbH.

The sale, which is due to the closure of the two production plants, will be conducted in partnership with US-based metal machinery supplier National Machinery Exchange. The production at the plants will stop at the end of this year.

Robert Bouland, CEO of Hilco Industrial Acquisitions, stated that they anticipate receiving a considerable level of interest from Asia, Middle East, and the Americas.
