Hebei Steel Group to build cargo terminals at Huanghua port

Chinese steel producer Hebei Steel Group has announced that it has signed an agreement with Hebei Port Group and Cangzhou Port Group, which are both located in China's Hebei Province, to build an iron ore terminal and a bulk cargo terminal at Huanghua port, Hebei Province.

Under the agreement, four iron ore berths with an annual throughput of 200,000 mt each and four bulk cargo berths with an annual throughput of 50,000 mt each will be constructed. Each year Hebei Steel uses Chinese domestic ports to handle over 30 million mt of imported iron ore and over 50 million mt of steel products.
