Haohai Coal Chemical puts coke oven No. 1 into operation

The coke oven No.1 of Jiuquan, Gansu Province-based Haohai Coal Chemical Co., built by Beijing-based state-owned China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC), was successfully put into operation on January 12, as announced by MCC on January 15.

Coke oven No. 1 is one of two new coke ovens at Haohai Coal Chemical, which will have a combined annual output capacity of 1 million mt of coke. Coke oven No. 2 has yet to be commissioned.
