Hansteel achieves record outputs at CR facilities in May

Major Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that in May this year its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Group (Hansteel) achieved record output figures at its cold rolled production facilities.

Accordingly, in May the output at Hansteel's pickling line totaled 132,362 mt, 8,642 mt more than the previous record monthly output, while the output from its continuous annealing line amounted to 68,510 mt, 2,003 mt more than the previous record monthly volume. Meanwhile, Hansteel's two galvanizing lines produced 60,300 mt in May, 4,747 mt more than the previous highest monthly output volume.
