Handan Steel inks deal for supply of 30,000 mt of pipeline steel

Chinese steel producer Hebei Iron and Steel Group has announced that its subsidiary Handan Iron and Steel Co. (Handan Steel) has signed a contract for the supply of 30,000 mt of X52 grade pipeline steel for use in the Nanjing gas project in China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

Handan Steel has already started mass production of X42-X80 grade pipeline steels, while it has also developed production of X100 pipeline steel with thick walls.
