Hebei Province-based Chinese steel producer Handan Steel Company, a subsidiary of Hebei Steel Group, has lately announced that it has successfully produced 3,800 mt of hot rolled sheet in specifications of 5-20 mm × 2,000 mm × 8,000 mm as per US standards. The products have already been shipped to Cuba. Handan Steel also stated that it is stepping up its efforts to tap into the South American market and other international markets.
The products in question were produced at a 2,250 mm continuous hot rolling production line in Handan Steel's New Zone. All products were found to be in compliance with the customer's requirements.
