Hebei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Handan Iron and Steel (Handan Steel), a subsidiary of Hebei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that in 2010 it exported a total of 325,600 mt of high-end steel products, including hot rolled coils, cold rolled full hard coils, galvannealed coils and color coated coils, to destinations such as Russia, UK, the Middle East, South Africa and East Asia.
Handan Steel also stated that in 2011 it plans to further increase its exports of high-end steel products, focusing on products such as low-alloy high-strength steel, non-grain-oriented electrical steel, fingerprint-resistant galvanized sheet and others.
