H2 Green Steel to supply 25% of future demand of steel service center in UK

Sweden-based H2 Green Steel has announced that it has signed a five-year agreement valued at about €125 million with UK-based steel service center Steel Processing Midlands (SPM) for the supply of low-carbon steel. With this agreement, SPM will secure 25 percent of its future annual steel demand.

Recently, H2 Green Steel signed a seven-year agreement that exceeds a value of €250 million with German cold rolled steel strip producer Bilstein Group to supply low-carbon steel, as SteelOrbis previously reported.

H2 Green Steel’s annual green steel production will reach five million mt by 2030 at the latest.
