German wholesale metal prices down 0.8 percent in July from June

As reported by Germany's Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in July this year the wholesale selling prices of industrial products in Germany were down 0.5 percent compared to July 2014, following the 0.5 percent and 0.4 percent year-on-year price decreases recorded in June and May respectively. Meanwhile, the wholesale price index increased by 0.1 percent in July this year compared to June.

In July of the current year, wholesale prices of ores, metals and semi-finished products in Germany were down by 0.1 percent compared to the same month of 2014 and indicated a decrease of 0.8 percent compared to June.
