German iron ore import prices up 3.2 percent in May

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in May this year the import price of iron ore in Germany increased by 3.2 percent year on year and was up 1.6 percent month on month.

In May, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany increased by 8.8 percent year on year and was up 0.5 percent as compared to April.
