German iron ore import prices rise 0.7 percent in May over April

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in May this year the import price of iron ore increased by 49.1 percent year on year in Germany, while it increased by 0.7 percent as compared to April.
 
In May this year, the import price of pig iron, steel and ferroalloys in Germany rose by 8.2 percent year on year, while it decreased by 0.5 percent compared to April this year.
