German iron ore import prices down 7.5 percent in Apr from Mar

According to a report released by the German Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), in April of the current year the import price of iron ore in Germany decreased by 20.4 percent year on year and was down 7.5 percent month on month.

In April, the average import price of iron and steel and ferroalloys in Germany decreased by four percent year on year and increased by 0.8 percent compared to March.
Meanwhile, in April this year the import price of nickel fell by 0.5 percent year on year and was up by 9.1 percent month on month.
