Galvanized steel producers in the Philippines will reportedly hike prices in March following the recent increase in the country's VAT and raw material prices. According to sources, companies will hike prices by 5 percent due to the 2 percent increase in the country's VAT. Moreover, galvanized steel products are planning to increase production this year since demand for galvanized products in the Philippines market is strong.
