France's steel product export value down 2.9 percent in January-July

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-July period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €5.58 billion, decreasing by 2.9 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €1.3 billion of steel pipes and tubes - up 2.4 percent, €299.1 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 2.6 percent, €227.95 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by1.4 percent, €202.25 million of cold rolled steel bars - down one percent, and €460.16 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 12.36 percent, all compared to the same period of 2014.
