France's steel product export value up 12.4 percent in Jan-Feb

According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in January-February period this year France's basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €1.55 billion, rising by 12.4 percent year on year.
 
During the period in question, France exported €253.92 million of steel pipes and tubes - down 21.5 percent, €104.79 million of cold rolled steel strip - up 12.2 percent, €59.1 million of cold drawn wire - down by 3.4 percent, €60.52 million of cold rolled steel bars - up 14.6 percent, and €89.13 million of metal structures and parts - down by 5.3 percent, all compared to the same period of 2016.
