According to the statistics released by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, in the January-July period this year France’s basic steel product and ferroalloy exports amounted to a value of €6.75 billion, decreasing by 25.5 percent year on year.
In the given period, France exported €854 million of steel pipes and tubes - up 3.6 percent, €364.9 million of cold rolled steel bars - rising by 7.4 percent, €422.1 million of cold rolled steel strip - down 2.5 percent, €219.45 million of cold drawn wire - decreasing by 16.5 percent, and €540.17 million of metal structures and parts - rising by 4.7 percent, all compared to the same period of 2022.
