France's metal industry output up slightly in Oct from Sept

French manufacturing output in October this year increased slightly 0.4 percent compared to September, according to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
 
In October, France's production in manufacture of basic metals and fabricated metal products, except machinery and equipment, rose 1.1 percent compared to September, after a month-on-month decrease of 2.7 percent in September. In the month of October, production of the country's motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers industry saw a slight increase of 0.1 percent month on month, after a 7.2 percent month-on-month decrease recorded in the previous month, while the output of the construction industry increased 0.1 percent in October from September, after a decrease of 1.4 percent in September compared to August.
