France’s construction cost index up four percent in Q1

According to the data released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), the country's construction cost index in the first quarter of 2012 rose 4.05 percent year on year, while it fell 1.3 percent as compared to the previous quarter. In the fourth quarter of 2011, the index had increased by 0.9 percent quarter on quarter and was up 6.85 percent year on year.
