Chicago-based Flack Steel announced this week that effective immediately, it has changed its name to Flack Global Metals. This move reflects a consolidation of recent acquisitions that include Consolidated Metal Products (CMP) in Columbia, South Carolina, and JD Steel Products in Toledo, Ohio.

In a move toward increasing global reach and expanded product line, Flack Global Metals will now offer bare, pre-painted and coated metals, including aluminum, stainless, and galvalume.

"With a consolidated new brand, Flack is poised to pivot the metals business," states Jeremy Flack, CEO of Flack Global Metals. "We are doing no less than ushering in a new era for the iconic US steel and metals industries."

Flack Global Metals serves OEMs across a range of industries with hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized and painted sheet steel, along with proprietary product solutions.
