Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it has received the final acceptance certificate from Taiwanese steel producer Feng Hsin Steel for the new, high-speed rebar mill, which was linked directly to the existing four-strand caster also supplied by Danieli.

The mill produces rebar with an annual production capacity of 745,000 mt. According to Danieli, the perfect combination of the mechanical equipment powered by Danieli electrical and automation systems guarantees remarkable efficiency in terms of hourly production cost. In addition, design concept and construction makes it possible to achieve long-service life and high-productivity, minimizing man-power and process costs.
