FAS orders Evraz not to raise its coking coal prices

The Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has ordered Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz and its coking coal subsidiary Raspadskiy Ugol not to raise their prices for coking coal.

This latest directive of the FAS will be effective till January 1, 2009, after which the companies in question are to sign long-term supply agreements, the prices in which will be determined according to a formula agreed with the FAS.
