FAI in China’s railways totals RMB 59.6 billion in Jan-Feb, up 5.9%

China Railway Corporation has announced that the total fixed asset investment (FAI) in China’s railways in the January-February period this year amounted to RMB 59.6 billion ($8.6 billion), up 5.9 percent year on year.

In the given period, the total amount of freight on China’s railways amounted to 809.91 million mt, up 2.7 percent year on year, while the total freight turnover reached 591.592 billion mt-km, up 6.6 percent year on year.
