The Russian steel and iron ore producer Evraz Group (Evraz) has announced the acquisition of 25 percent less one share in Italian steel plate producer Palini e Bertoli, thus raising its total stake in the company to 100 percent. The consideration paid for the stake was approximately €76 million ($108 million).

In August 2005, Evraz bought a 75 percent plus one share stake in the Italian plate maker, retaining the option to acquire all remaining shares.
