Evraz UGOK’s iron ore concentrate output up 6% in Jan-Aug

Evraz UGOK (Southern Ore Mining and Processing Enterprise), a subsidiary of Russian mining and steel producing company Evraz Group, has announced that in August this year its iron ore concentrate production increased by 3.7 percent year on year to 954,000 mt. Its output of agglomerate in the given month increased by 3.9 percent year on year to 134,000 mt.

In the January-August period of this year, Evraz UGOK's iron ore concentrate production increased by six percent to 7.471 million mt, while its output of agglomerate in the given period declined by one percent to 1.523 million mt, both year on year.
