In January this year, new commercial vehicle registrations increased by 7.6 percent year on year in the European Union, totaling 142,596 units, following the year-on-year decline recorded in December, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA).
Looking at the major markets, in January
Spain (+31.2 percent), the UK (+21.7 percent),
Italy (+2.4 percent) and Germany (+1.4 percent) posted increases, while new commercial vehicle registrations in
France decreased by 8.6 percent, all on year-on-year basis.
