European commercial vehicle registrations up 13.2 percent in November

In November this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the European Union (EU) increased by 13.2 percent year on year to 203,799 units, following the decline recorded in the previous month, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA). 
 
Growth was sustained across all segments and all major markets. In November, the Italian market posted the highest increase (+70.2%), followed by France (15.0%), Spain (14.2%), the UK (3.7%), and Germany (1.8%), all compared to November 2015.
 
In the first eleven months of this year, new commercial vehicle registrations in the EU totaled about 2.1 million units, up 11.7 percent on year-on-year basis. Italy (+44.2 percent), Spain (+11.1 percent), France (+8.9 percent), Germany (+7.4 percent) and the UK (+2.2 percent) recorded increases, all year on year.
