EU starts AD probe on hot rolled steel sheet piles imports from China

The European Commission (EC) has announced that it has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding imports of hot rolled steel sheet piles originating in China.

The investigation was launched upon the application lodged by the European Steel Association (EUROFER), alleging that imports of hot rolled steel sheet piles from China are being dumped and are thereby causing injury to the industry in the EU.

The investigation will cover the period from April 1, 2017 to March 31, 2018.

The products in question currently fall within CN code ex 7301 10 00.
