Reliance Steel-owned Earl Jorgensen Company (EMJ), based in Lynwood, California, Monday announced it plans to build a 72,000-square-foot distribution center in Arlington, Tennessee. Construction is expected to begin as early as next week, and comes with a price tag of $5 million. The project is expected to be completed by September. Company officials cite an increase in demand within the medical device industry have prompted the expansion.
