Reliance Steel-owned Earl Jorgensen Company (EMJ), based in Lynwood, California, Monday announced it plans to build a 72,000-square-foot distribution center in Arlington, Tennessee.  Construction is expected to begin as early as next week, and comes with a price tag of $5 million.  The project is expected to be completed by September.  Company officials cite an increase in demand within the medical device industry have prompted the expansion.

Founded in 1921, EMJ is a metals service center specializing in tube, bar, and plate.
