On November 23, Liaoning Province-based Chinese special steel producer Dongbei Special Steel Group Co., Ltd announced that it has officially completed the construction of a steel bar production line at its new production base in Dalian, Liaoning.
The line in question, specializing in the production of alloy steel bars, has already started hot trial operations. The designed annual production capacity of the line is 300,000 mt. Dongbei Special Steel had commissioned a new high speed wire rod production line at its Dalian base in September 2009.
