DOC amends final results of AD review on SS wire rod from India

On July 13, 2005, the Department of Commerce (DOC) published final results of an antidumping duty administrative review on stainless steel wire rods imported from India. The period of review was December 1, 2002, through November 30, 2003. According to the final results, the following weighted-average dumping margins existed for the period December 1, 2002, through November 30, 2003.

Manufacturer/Exporter Margin

Chandan Steel Ltd................................2.10%
Isibars Steel Ltd, Zenstar Impex, and
Shaktiman Steel Casting Pvt Ltd.................27.20%
The Viraj Group (Viraj Alloys Ltd and
VSL Wires Ltd)...................................0.00%
However, having noticed a ministerial error in the margin calculation, the DOC decided to change the antidumping margin for Isibars Limited. Accordingly, the rate for Isibars has been increased from 27.20 percent to 30.10 percent.
