Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) has announced a month-on-month growth of 7.4 percent in its crude steel output in May this year, totaling 23,683 mt, while its finished steel output in the given month increased by 1.2 percent month on month to 14,472 mt.
In the January-May period of the current year, Dneprospetsstal's crude steel output amounted to 102,811 mt, down 10.2 percent, while its finished steel output was 65,926 mt, down 8.8 percent, both compared to the same period of the previous year.
