Dneprospetsstal’s crude steel output down 23 percent in August from July

Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) has announced a month-on-month decline of 23 percent in its crude steel output in August this year to 18,533 mt, while its finished steel output in the given month decreased by 2.2 percent to 13,810 mt, compared to the previous month of this year.
 
In the first eight months of the current year, Dneprospetsstal's crude steel output amounted to 166,770 mt, down 11.8 percent, while its finished steel output was 108,232 mt, down 10.8 percent, both compared to the same period of the previous year.
